Different Drummer Ultramedia is proud to announce that we are beginning pre-production on a feature length documentary about the life of Eudora Welty.  The film will be rich with interviews by Welty scholars, family and friends, and by other literary personalities.  We are combing public and private collections, collecting photographs and stories and are learning a tremendous amount about this great lady of letters.  Also to be included are never before seen interviews.

Our goal is to produce the definitive biography of Miss Welty in a dignified, sensitive manner.  We want her personality, charm and humor to show through.  We want the world to discover more about this Mississippi treasure.

This two to three year project is just now getting underway. 

It is tremendously exciting to each of us.  This is a

project we believe in, and we want that to show

in the final product.
